This program was designed to provide a luxury ecological experience offering both, pampered relaxation, and a wide variety of activities in both locations. We begin at Punta Islita Hotel. Situated as a pristine outpost of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula in Guanacaste, Hotel Punta Islita coalesces nature, community, and art in a colorful tapestry that cascades from the summit unto the intimate cove and namesake islet at the far end of the beach complete with blazing sunsets. Next we head towards El Silencio Lodge & Spa, an eco-luxury hotel showcasing the best of Costa Rica’s tropical cloud forest. Silencio (Spanish for silence) is Costa Rica at its best. Located deep in a private cloud forest reserve, El Silencio is poised high on jungled hillside where stress is simply no allowed. Immerse yourself in the glorious nature that is all around you.

Day 1 Arrive Guanacaste (Punta Islita)

Hotel Punta Islita is a secluded paradise with spectacular ocean views, charming luxury, and exciting activities underscored by a genuine commitment to responsible tourism. Check-in at the hotel. Explore authentic Costa Rican culture, the natural beauty of the Guanacaste province, and the wellness benefits of the Nicoya Peninsula. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 2 Guanacaste (Punta Islita)

Hotel Punta Islita’s Casa Spa is a unique haven for holistic well-being. Beauty rituals, traditional healing arts, the wellness attributes of the Nicoya Peninsula, and the herbalist wisdom of native Chorotega tribes are artfully combined to provide gentle release from daily stress. (B)

Day 3 Guanacaste (Punta Islita)

Discover today the 50 acre area of tropical dry forest, situated at the northeast of the hotel’s property, which has been designated as a private reserve to promote the conservation and rehabilitation of local species, including the Scarlet Macaw (Ara macau), the Toledo bird (Chiroxipia linearis), and the Pochote tree (Pochota quinata). Marvel at the fascinating intricacies of the endangered tropical dry forest; a globally threatened ecosystem that is home to over 150 species of mammals, 200 bird species, 100 amphibian and reptile species, unique trees, and brilliant tropical flowers. Day 4 Guanacaste (Punta Islita)

The hotel's infinity edge pool sits at the pinnacle of Punta Islita’s tiered layout, overlooking the very ocean with which it seems to merge. Serene fresh water and placid skies create the perfect environment for swimming, reading, and relaxed sunbathing. (B)

Day 5 Guanacaste (Punta Islita) / Bajos del Toro (El Silencio)

Depart from Guanacaste to Bajos del Toro (transfer rate upon request) to El Silencio Lodge & Spa, located in Costa Rica’s lush central volcanic valley. Silencio, Spanish for silence, is befitting of a destination where daily stress hushes and the sounds of nature bloom. Evening at leisure. (B)

Day 6 Bajos del Toro (El Silencio)

At El Silencio, each party is paired with an Eco-concierge, a guide to local culture and natural surroundings. Eco-concierges lead the courtesy Mystic Hike, the complimentary tree-planting activity, and help coordinate activities and day tours. Nearby attractions and adventures include Costa Rica travel favorites such as Poas Volcano, Sarchí arts and crafts, Arenal Volcano, horseback riding, river rafting, mountain biking, and canopy zip-lining; all which may be arranged thru your Eco-Concierge (optional activities not included). Delicious lunch and dinner to be served at the lodge. Signature healthy dishes include regional fish, free-range poultry, and vegetarian entrees. An in-property garden supplies most of the restaurant’s organic herbs, fruits, and vegetables. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Bajos del Toro (El Silencio)

Esencia Spa lets you enjoy the best of Costa Rica's natural healing ingredients in a luxury hotel setting. The sound of flowing water, whispering breeze, nourishing earth, and the primal flicker of candles converge in harmony for relaxing massages, facials, and body wraps. There is an al-fresco Yoga Deck and the Conical Room, designed to channel the Costa Rican forest's life energy. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Lodge. Day 8 Depart Bajos del Toro (El Silencio)
